I wholeheartedly believe it’s my role as a therapist to assist you in realizing, cultivating, and accessing internal and external resources that you already possess. I'm here to support you in healing, reconnecting and making empowering choices to achieve peace and feel more joy on a daily basis. Stress, conflict, and pain are given aspects of this life. Together, we will create a safe space for vulnerability and strength; both are needed for change. Our sessions will allow you to move through stuck points in your mind, relationships and environment. My approach is empathic, direct, emotionally supportive and solutions focused.

Some common issues I specialize in are: perinatal mood/ anxiety disorders, military life adjustments, trauma and anxiety.

Sarah Lauterbach, MA, LMFT

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who loves working with new moms and dads that are struggling with postpartum anxiety, depression, or loss. I have advanced training in those areas with the intent of pursuing a certification in maternal mental health in the future.

I am a mom of two, one girl and one boy, and I experienced both postpartum anxiety and loss. These experiences inspired me to help other moms who may feel alone, misunderstood, or stuck. No mom should have to feel alone with these experiences.

I’m a trained family and couples therapist so I can work with individuals, couples, and families. The arrival of a baby often rocks the couple’s relationship and they feel overwhelmed with how to navigate their new reality. I help couples to communicate better, gain insight into their relationships, and learn how to respond rather than react when they encounter stress and challenge.

I’m originally from the East Coast, raising a bicultural family, and love my dogs and cat. I love reading, puzzles, hiking, and exploring this amazing community.

Dr. Laura, a clinical psychologist, specializes in supporting women who feel they have lost their own vibrancy within the transition of becoming a mother (preconception and well into the motherhood journey). Clients that resonate with Dr. Laura’s approach are high achieving, open-minded, curious explorers, with a propensity towards holistic health and attachment style parenting.

Through the lens of attachment theory, clients are guided to explore the aspects of living that are held in restriction that can manifest as quick tempered, propensity towards control, easily irritated, and internal wheel of shame that hounds “not doing enough.” Through compassionate inquiry, our work focuses on re-establishing this abandoned connection to our birth right of harmony.
