Hi, I’m Ashley, and I believe that knowledge is power—especially on the journey to parenthood. My passion for childbirth education stems from my own experiences as a mother and my deep understanding of the body’s wisdom. Through education, body awareness, and empowerment, I help expecting parents navigate the transition from preconception to postpartum with confidence.

I specialize in breaking down the “that’s normal” mindset around pregnancy and birth, helping parents truly understand the changes happening in their bodies and how to support them. Together, we’ll explore evidence-based practices, comfort techniques, and ways to advocate for your birth preferences. My goal is for you to feel informed, empowered, and deeply connected to your body’s innate ability to birth. Let’s rewrite the narrative and create a birth experience that feels right for you—one filled with strength, trust, and knowledge.

Cori Gentry offers in-person, online, self-paced, group, and private comprehensive birth and newborn classes. Birth Chemistry Childbirth Classes are designed to help modern parents achieve a positive birth experience at the hospital, a birth center, or at home. Birth Chemistry uses inclusive language, all pregnant people and their partners are welcome.

Cori’s own 6 births have taught her that the decisions parents make in childbirth are personal and unique to them. She believes parents deserve to learn their options from an objective, experienced instructor, and receive compassionate support throughout that process. Complimentary concierge support are included with all class packages.

Hello! I am Merilee Rockefeller-Kolpaczyk, founder of Breastfeeding Support and More with Miss Merilee. I am a Registered Nurse (RN), an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) with 34 years of past experience working and teaching at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. I loved being a Labor and Delivery & Postpartum Nurse, Lactation Consultant, and Instructor and am excited to now be bringing this knowledge out into our community. It is my personal mission to provide equitable, inclusive, respectful, evidenced based care and educational services to everyone in our community.
Prenatally, I offer In Person Small Group Lamaze Based Childbirth Classes and In Person Small Group Breastfeeding Classes for you and your support person. I am excited to be offering in person classes to our local community once again after the pandemic hiatus. These evidenced based, inclusive classes are a great way not only to learn and prepare for your childbirth and breastfeeding journeys, but also to begin building relationships with other new parents.
Postpartum, I offer In Home Private Lactation Consultations, which is where I come to your home and help you navigate any breastfeeding challenges that you may be dealing with. Each Breastfeeding journey is unique to the mom and that baby. If you feel the breastfeeding is not going well, know that I am here to help. In using my decades of experience and clinical expertise as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and listening to you and your baby, together we will find a plan the best works for you both. My goal is simply to help you achieve your personal breastfeeding goals. I encourage you to call right away if you have any concerns with how your breastfeeding journey is going.
New Infant Care Class being offered! Especially designed for planned cesarean section moms and those looking for a refresher on newborn care.

**Birth and Postpartum Doula**
Shauna is a locally trained Birth and Postpartum Doula offering support to families for hospital and out-of-hospital births. She is trained to mother the mother with Belly Binding, Postpartum Chef Services, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care.
**Childbirth Education**
Shauna is locally trained and certified by Lamaze International to provide Childbirth Education classes to those birthing in or out of the hospital. She will guide you through a personalized curriculum to fit your needs and educate you on what you need to know for Childbirth and Postpartum. You will come out of the class feeling confident, knowledgeable and prepared for your journey ahead.
**Meal Services**
Shauna has taken her love of cooking, background in culinary arts, and passion for the birthing community to offer you personalized chef services. Specially curating nourishing meals for you during your prenatal and postpartum transitions. Nutrient-dense food is important for physical, mental, and emotional recovery and stability during the transitional journey to and through parenthood.
